Abdul Aziz Shaikh
Abdul is an experienced Primary Teacher with a global perspective. Holding a Masters in Applied Linguistics, Abdul is dedicated to fostering bilingual learning environments. His journey spans from teaching at Sprungbrett Montessori Schule to Ravenswood Primary School in the UK, where he taught a year 6 class. He pursued a PGCE at Newcastle University, achieving an Upper Distinction. Currently, at Lakeside School in Switzerland, Abdul imparts his expertise to Grade 5 and 6 students in bilingual education. Alongside his teaching career, Abdul is also the co-founder of "The Teachers' Lounge" podcast. In this podcast, he and his co-host, a Primary Teacher from England, delve into the humorous world of teaching and school life. They share funny and sometimes absurd moments, as well as the highs and lows that make the teaching profession so unique. Mandy Abou Shoak
Mandy ist eine Schweizer Politikerin und Menschenrechtlerin. Sie wurde 1989 in Khartum, Sudan, geboren und ist seit 2023 Mitglied des Zürcher Kantonsrats. Abou Shoak studierte Soziale Arbeit an der Hochschule Luzern und schloss ihren Master in Sozialer Arbeit an der Alice-Salomon-Fachhochschule in Berlin ab. Seit 2020 berät sie Organisationen bei der Entwicklung diskriminierungssensibler Praktiken. Sie war an verschiedenen kulturellen Projekten beteiligt und moderierte den Podcast „Reden wir! 20 Stimmen zu Rassismus“. 2020 gründete sie das Label „justhis“, das sich gegen institutionelle Diskriminierung einsetzt. Seit 2022 ist sie Verantwortliche Bildung und Beratung bei der NGO Brava und Co-Präsidentin der Fachstelle Frauenhandel und Frauenmigration FIZ seit 2023. Sie ist auch im Schwarz Feministischen Netzwerk Bla*sh und in der Regioleitung Zürich/Schaffhausen des Berufsverbands der Sozialen Arbeit AvenirSocial aktiv. Mandy wurde 2023 in den Kantonsrat gewählt und ist Mitglied der Kommission für Justiz und öffentliche Sicherheit sowie in der Geschäftsleitung der SP Frauen Schweiz seit 2023.
Pauline Boyeni
Pauline Boyeni brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for education to the team. As a secondary school teacher, Pauline has dedicated her career to shaping the minds of young learners, with a focus on promoting equity and inclusivity in education.
Born and raised in Zurich, Pauline's multicultural background, with Congolese and Portuguese heritage, has instilled in her a profound appreciation for the transformative power of education. Growing up with parents who did not have access to formal education in Switzerland, Pauline understands firsthand the importance of providing equal educational opportunities for all students, regardless of their background.
Pauline's educational journey began at Gymnasium Enge, where she received a comprehensive education that laid the foundation for her future endeavors. She later joined PH Zurich to further her studies and enhance her teaching skills.
Currently, Pauline teaches Geography, French, and Music, leveraging her diverse skill set to engage and inspire her students. In her pursuit of continuous growth and development, she is actively pursuing additional teaching courses at PH Zurich to expand her expertise and stay abreast of the latest educational practices.
Pauline's commitment to educational equity has led her to join Equipath as a dedicated educator. Through her firsthand experiences in the classroom, she has witnessed the nuances of the education system and recognizes the need for systemic improvements to create equitable pathways for all students. Pauline is deeply invested in ensuring that every student, regardless of their social, ethnic, or economic background, has access to quality education and the opportunity to thrive.

Tallulah Bär is a visionary leader driven by a passion for empowerment and representation. With a rich heritage stemming from Ghanaian and Egyptian roots, Tallulah's upbringing in Switzerland ignited her commitment to challenging societal norms and fostering inclusivity.
Determined to defy the limitations imposed by others, Tallulah founded Equipath, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at creating representation for children from diverse backgrounds. Through Equipath, Tallulah seeks to empower children by demonstrating that they possess the potential to achieve greatness regardless of societal barriers or preconceived notions.
